Building and maintaining friendships contributes to positive wellbeing. Ideally, while spending time together a lot of the above will be happening naturally; whether it’s a phone call, a quick brew at home, a dinner date or a full weekend together – it’s no wonder we feel so good after a catch-up!
Deep down the best thing for us to do is love and accept ourselves, and be loved and accepted – by purely being ourselves; friends are great for embodying this as they regularly choose to talk to you, spend time with you and keep you company during life’s twists and turns.
